At Rate My Military Community we know that military members and their families make sacrifices 99% of the nation does not. Continually moving from one military installation to the next for career purposes is one of those sacrifices. We also know that service members and their loved ones have certain needs that other families and individuals do not. Often, information from people already at the installation, or who recently were there, is difficult to obtain. The different branches of the military, understandably, show only the best of the installations while showing little criticism. These unanswered questions about the next duty station and the sacrifices on behalf of members of the military and their families is why Rate My Military Community.Com (RAMMC) was started.
RAMMC is dedicated to allowing service members and their families who accompany them and support them on their military careers to rate and review the installations and units they are currently stationed on or very recently left. Included in that, but certainly not limited to, will be Housing, Schools, Barracks, Post Exchange, Commissary and businesses outside the military installations.
RAMMC was started, and is run, by military veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom because of a lack of information, unfiltered by public affairs, on units and installations when changing duty stations. Because of our military service and our shared expirerience with being assigned to a new location we are committed to providing the best service to our users. RMMC is committed to providing information and attaining constructive criticism from service members and their families already on the ground while minding Operations Security, and excluding baseless personal attacks on individuals.
Please try to keep comments clean and ratings as fair as possible. Criticism and discussion are welcome and encouraged, so long as it constructive and informative to anyone who will, is and has dealt with whatever entity/organization you are rating. Any and all violations of OPSEC will be deleted, as will personal attacks on individuals.

We have received an overwhelming amount of requests from service members and their families from different units, installations and branches asking where their unit and or branch is. Rate My Military Community (RAMMC) is new and with overwhelming demand and limited resources we are working to incorporate and expand to cover as many units and bases as possible. We are still building the site up and will have other branches of the Armed Forces and their units up soon.
